Night Safari, the world's first wildlife park for nocturnal animals is an eight-time winner of the Best Visitor Attraction Experience, awarded by Singapore Tourism Board. Over 1,000 animals from 115 species (of which almost 30% are threatened) inhabit the 40-hectare park.
In line with its mission to promote biodiversity, the park focuses on the captive breeding of threatened species. Over the years, it has bred Malayan tigers, Asian elephants, Malayan tapirs and Asian lions, among other endangered species. Night Safari is part of Wildlife Reserves Singapore and is a designated wildlife rescue centre by the governing authority.
Lau Pa Sat (or "old market" in the Hokkien dialect) was Singapore's first wet market with 150 years of history. It has been gazetted as a national monument since 1973 and was subsequently converted into a famous gourmet paradise food center which offers authentic local and international cuisine. At night, the side street is closed to traffic and transformed into "Satay Street" with stalls that grill and serve satay in the open air, hawker store - the old fashioned way.
Located in the heart of Singapore's business district, expect to find delectable hawker style food fare that presents Singaporeans' national obsession with street food. See and experience what our multi-cultural society has brought about in the local cuisine at the food centre, with namely Malay, Chinese, Indian and Nonya influences.
Be captivated and enthralled by the setting sun as the night unfolds a picturesque Singapore landscape with Singapore Cable Car offering a stunning 360-degree view of the Southern precinct with its transparent enclosure.
As darkness settles, a whole brand-new adventure awaits you, board the Skyride and enjoy a breathtaking view of Singapore as the city skyline and harbour transform into a dazzling city of lights at night.
Songs of the Sea brings you a mesmerizing show with a live cast, dramatic effects and pyrotechnics. Water jets, flame bursts, lasers and captivating music make this a one-of-a-kind entertainment spectacle that's fun for everyone.
