Important Notes to Authors/Presenters

  • Authors need complete their meeting registration and pay fees by 28 Mar 2013
    Late payment may result in the abstract not being included in the conference program and any other publications printed for distribution at the conference.
  • The maximum limit for each presenter/author or paid meeting registration is TWO Abstracts/Presentations.
  • Fees must be received in Singapore Dollars only

1.0 Fees

 1.3Thu-04 Jul Conference Banquet
  1.3.1Main conference fees exclude access to the conference banquet. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase and acceptance confirmation is subject to payment being received and places being available at the end of the registration period.

All Invited Speakers, Symposia Chairs/Co-Chairs are eligible to attend the conference banquet, compliments MRS-S. Please confirm attendance at the time of registration.

   1.4.1 MRS-S Member – applicable to members of the Materials Research Society - Singapore.
Membership ID must be provided if you select this category.

   1.4.2 Student
  1. Applicable to Students from any university. Proof of student status will be required at the time of registration. See also point (b) below.
  2. Proof of student status can take the form of an official letter from the university or a student card, in English. At the very least, it should provide the following information:
    • Student Name
    • Student matriculation number (student ID with photograph)
    • Expiration/Expected Graduation date (This cannot be before conference start date)
    • Name of University/Institution

  2. Please upload electronic/ digital copy of staff/student card at the time of registration.

   1.5.1 Authors need complete their meeting registration and pay fees (if applicable) by 28 Mar 2013. Late payment may result in the abstract not being included in the conference program and any other publications printed for distribution at the conference.
   1.5.2 The maximum limit for each presenter/author or paid meeting registration is TWO Abstracts/Presentations.
   1.5.3 Discounted Rate applies for fees received by 28 Mar, 2013
   1.5.4 Normal Rate applies for fees received by 15 May, 2013 (not applicable to authors/presenters)
   1.5.5 Late/Onsite Rate is applicable for fees paid after 15 May, 2013 (not applicable to authors/presenters)
   1.5.6 Any fee amount owing to the conference will be recovered online or collected onsite upon check-in at the registration desks.
   1.5.7 For walk-in registration, late/payment onsite, standard conference items (e.g. printed programme and conference bags) are available only while stocks last.
   1.5.8 For “Additional Purchases (Optional)”, purchase confirmation is subject to payment being received and only while stocks last.

2.0 Registration Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy

  2.1 There will be no refund for "No-Show" registrants and the organizers will not entertain requests to mail out any conference publications and or materials to such individuals.
  2.2 There will be no refund for cancellation/withdrawal notice received after 15 May 2013.
For notice received before 15 May 2013, 70% refund of payment received.
